How to Play & Controls

A

If the controller is not functioning as intended, please check the following items:

▼ Connect the controller via USB cable
If the controller is connected wirelessly, try connecting it via a USB cable.

▼ Connect to a different USB port
Change the USB port and try again.

▼ Disconnect keyboards and other devices
Disconnect any USB peripherals (such as a mouse, keyboard, camera, microphone, headset, etc.) and test the controller in a simpler environment.

▼ Check the button assignments in the in-game settings
If the game has controller settings or key configuration, check and reassign the buttons as needed.

▼ Restart the Steam client
Select "Exit" from the "Steam" menu in the top-left corner of the Steam client.
Alternatively, right-click the Steam client on the taskbar at the bottom-right corner of your PC and select "Exit Steam".
Restart Steam from the desktop.

▼ Check the Steam controller settings
Start the Steam client and go to "Steam" > "Settings" > "Controller" in the top-left corner of the screen.

1.Select "Test Device Input" > "Begin Test" to confirm that the controller buttons are responding, and set the button layout as "Configure Device Input".
Ensure that the connected controller's name is displayed in "Controller Name".
2.In "General Controller Settings," ensure that the controller's input status is set to "Enabled".
If the controller is not listed, enable "Enable Generic Gamepad Configuration Support".

▼ Check and how to update the controller drivers
Right-click the Windows (Start) button and open "Device Manager"
Right-click your device (controller) under "Human Interface Devices" and check the "Properties" to ensure it is working properly.
Whether it is functioning correctly or not, try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.

▼ Check if the buttons respond correctly on the following screens
For Windows 10:
Open Windows (Start) > "Windows System Tools" > "Control Panel" > "Hardware and Sound" > "Devices and Printers"
Right-click the controller (gamepad) and select "Game Controller Settings"
Under the "Properties" > "Test" tab, check if the buttons are responding correctly.

For Windows 11:
Open Windows "Settings" > "Bluetooth & Devices" > "Devices" > "Other Devices and Printer Settings"
Right-click the controller (gamepad) and select "Game Controller Settings"
Under the "Properties" > "Test" tab, check if the buttons are responding correctly.

▼ Perform a "Check Game File Integrity"
Right-click the product title in your Steam library, then go to "Properties" > "Installed Files" > "Verify integrity of game files"

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please uninstall the Steam client and reinstall it.
