[Steam: General] Controls don't seem to work/I want to check troubleshooting details
The game may not function properly if your game data or device has issues.
Please read on below and try the suggested fixes.
Note that if you have a self-made PC, we cannot offer any support. Please access "https://bnfaq.channel.or.jp/faq/detail/7295" for more details.
[Suggested Fixes]
•Verify the integrity of game files on Steam
From your Steam library, select the gear icon, then → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
•Please remove any additional accessories and use as few devices as possible.
Remove any USB devices (game controllers, cameras, mics, headsets, etc.), creating as minimal an environment as possible.
If the problem is resolved, the issue may lie with one of your accessories.
Try updating the driver software and see if the situation improves.
*Refer to your device's support page or inquire with the manufacturer.
•Updating Graphics Drivers/Software Drivers
Using older software drivers may result in performance issues.
If you use a pre-made PC from a manufacturer, try updating your software after inquiring with them as necessary.
•Removing a Game Program from Security Software Detection
Security software or firewalls may monitor your game files and interfere with performance.
To prevent security features from affecting game files, find "Add an exclusion" under settings, and games may install properly.
Files may once again be subject to detection when they are updated following installation or a version update.
•Install After Disabling Start-Up Programs
Another application may be running and causing issues.
To identify the cause, try disabling other applications from launching on start-up, and try reinstalling the game.
*Please note that any end result is the user's responsibility.
*After attempting, please reset your settings to their previous state.
•Reinstall Game Data
If the installed data is corrupt, reinstallation may fix the issue, so please try the following.
If your hard drive has space left over, please try installing on another drive as well.
*Please backup your game data before uninstalling/reinstalling
*Contact Steam's support for more details.
•Check the Installation Location's Folder Name
If the folder name contains double-byte characters (e.g., Japanese hiragana, katakana, kanji), try renaming the folder using single-byte characters (half-width alphanumeric).
