Q

[Steam: General] Are self-made PCs eligible for support?
Troubleshooting

A

When playing games on a PC (including those on Steam), using a self-made or modified computer may result in unexpected issues due to parts compatibility and so on.

As it is hard to accurately assess the operating environment of self-made PCs, such devices are ineligible for our support services.

Please be aware that we are also unable to handle inquiries related to such devices. Built-to-order computers with a manufacturer guarantee are not counted as self-made.

*If any parts are added or replaced on your built-to-order computer after purchase, it will no longer be eligible for support services.

In addition, issues related to the use of game mod programs or other modification software not downloaded via the Steam Store are ineligible for support services.

We kindly ask for your understanding on this matter.
