About “Passkey”

A passkey is a way to log in using your device’s screen lock (fingerprint, face recognition, PIN, etc.) instead of entering a password.

By optionally setting up passkey login, you won’t need to enter your password, and you can log in more safely and easily.

In addition, biometric information such as fingerprints or facial data is managed only within an area controlled by the device OS, and is not sent to or stored in your Bandai Namco ID, so you can use it with confidence.

Setting up a passkey is not required. You can continue to use the existing login methods, such as logging in with a password or via external SNS account linking.

How to Create a Passkey

  1. Log in to the Bandai Namco ID Portal.
  2. From the Account Settings screen, select “Privacy & Security > Passkey Settings”.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform device authentication (fingerprint, face recognition, PIN, etc.).

You need a compatible device and browser.

You cannot create a new Bandai Namco ID using only a passkey. After creating a new Bandai Namco ID with an email address or by linking an external SNS account, please create a passkey.

Even after creating a passkey, you can still use the existing login methods.

Check / Add / Delete Passkeys

You can manage your registered passkey information from “Privacy & Security > Passkey Settings” in the Account Settings screen.

You can register up to 5 passkeys for a single Bandai Namco ID, and you can also delete them.

If you delete all passkeys, you will no longer be able to log in with a passkey, but you can still log in using a password or via SNS account linking.
